We met in 2003 as freshman at our alma mater, UC Irvine, where Mel majored in Film and Kelsey in Classics.

Mel, procrastinating rather than writing a paper, was browsing a mutual friend's website and clicked a link to Kelsey's. Mel emailed some suggestions for her list of favorite movies, and Kelsey, developing an instant crush, thought "I hope Mel doesn't stand for Melanie!"

We started chatting online, found out we shared a class as well as a friend, and before long we were dating.

After being together for about three and a half years, we were engaged on October 4th, 2007 and married on June 22, 2008 at the beautiful Falkner winery in Temecula, California - check out the photos!
